While most people think of meditation as the main mind-body exercise, there are many other forms that help connect your mind and body. Yoga and Pilates are just a few great forms of mind-body exercises. Trying these out, among others, while also practicing mindful breathing patterns, muscle relaxation, and guided imagery can work wonders for your health. Mind-body exercises are helpful in reducing stress, creating a sense of calm, decreasing chronic pain, and improving sleep patterns.
